SBI recruit every year various posts for officers and clerical cadre this time State Bank of India released the notification of Junior Associates recruitment 2023 for 8283 Vacancy in all over India.
The selection process of Junior Associates post is to be conducted in three stages i.e. Preliminary Examination (MCQ based), Mains Examination (MCQ based), Document verification. SBI Junior Associates Notification 2023
The candidates applying for 8283 vacancies in SBI Junior Associates Recruitment 2023 of a particular State/UT, should be proficient (reading, writing, speaking and understanding) in the specified opted local language of that State/UT. The test for knowledge of specified opted local language will be conducted as a part of selection process. Preliminary Examination of SBI JA Recruitment will be conducted tentatively in the month of January 2024 and Main Examination will be conducted tentatively in the month of February 2024.
The above vacancies are provisional and depending on the actual requirement of the Bank the said vacancies may vary. Candidates may apply for vacancies of one State/UT only. There is no provision for Inter Circle Transfer/ Inter State transfer for SBI Junior Associates to be recruited.
SBI JA Recruitment Eligibility Criteria
A. Age Limit– The SBI JA Recruitment age criteria is not below 20 years and not above 28 years as on 01.04.2023, i.e. candidates must have been born not earlier than 02.04.1995 and not later than 01.04.2003 (both days inclusive)
Further relaxation is provided to Category candidates as per official notification.
B. Essential Academic Qualification – Graduation in any discipline from a recognized University or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by Central Government. Candidates having integrated dual degree (IDD) certificate should ensure that the date of passing the IDD is on or before 31.12.2023. Those who are in the final year/ semester of their graduation may also apply provisionally subject to the condition that, if provisionally selected, they will have to produce proof of having passed the graduation examination on or before 31.12.2023.
SBI Clerk Selection Procedure
The selection process of SBI Clerk posts will consist of on-line test (Preliminary & Main exam) and test of specified opted local language.
Phase-I: Preliminary Examination: Online Preliminary Exam consisting of Objective Tests for 100 marks will be conducted online. This test would be of 1-hour duration consisting of 3 Sections as follows:

Each test will have a separate timing as mentioned above. There will be negative marks for wrong answers in the Objective tests. 1/4th of mark assigned for question will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Final selection of Junior Associates will be subject to-
(i) Verification of eligibility for the post and information furnished in the online application.
(ii) Qualifying in test of specified opted local language.
Results of the candidates who have provisionally qualified for selection will be made available on the Bank’s website.
Waiting List: A wait list of up to 50% of vacancies (State-category wise) will be maintained. Candidates will be released from this waitlist on quarterly basis against non-joining and resignation out of the current batch only, subject to the candidates securing minimum qualifying marks as may be stipulated by the Bank for selection. This wait list will be valid for a period of one year from the date of declaration of final result.
SBI Junior Associates Recruitment Pay Scale
The starting Basic Pay of SBI Junior Associates salary is Rs.19900/- (Rs.17900/- plus two advance increments admissible to graduates). The total starting emoluments of a Clerical Cadre employee payable at Metro like Mumbai will be around Rs.37,000/- per month inclusive of D.A., other allowances at the current rate and two additional increments for newly recruited graduate junior associates.
Allowances may vary depending upon the place of posting. They will be eligible for reimbursement of various perquisites, provident fund, Pension under New Pension scheme (Defined Contribution Benefit), Medical, Leave-Fare and other facilities, as per instructions of the Bank as may be issued from time to time
