The Metro rail Corporation of Uttar Pradesh has been released the notification for various executive and non-executive posts. The online registration will be start from 20^th March, candidates have to visit official notification before applying for the posts and check their eligibility. The corporation declared total of 439 vacancies.

The Uttar Pradesh Metro rail Corporation (UPMRC) is a joint venture company which operates the Lucknow Metro, Agra Metro and Kanpur Metro. Currently there are four operational systems in the state, Lucknow Metro and Kanpur Metro that are operated by UPMRC and other two Noida Metro operated by NMRC and Delhi Meerut RRTS operated by NCRTC.

The Rail Corporation declared 439 vacancies of executive and non-executive, from which in executive 32 vacancy and rest in non-executive.

UP Metro Rail 2024 Eligibility Criteria

There are some eligibility criteria in which age limit and educational qualification should be match before applying for the posts, it vary as per the posts.

Age Limit

The age limit of candidates must be between 21 to 28 years old as on 1^st March 2024. The details regarding the age relaxation and other category wise details candidates are advised to check official notification.

Educational Qualification

Candidates must have some minimum educational qualification for various posts of executive and non-executive. Candidates have to go through the post-wise educational qualification in official notification before applying for the posts.

How to Apply for UP Metro Rail Recruitment 2024

• Candidates have to visit the official website of Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation Ltd : www.upmetrorail.com
• On the homepage there will be section “career” in the header list, in that section the list of recruitment will appear on the screen.
• Click on “Recruitment 2024” from the list.
• New page will be open in which candidate have to click on “Click here to register as new user”.
• Enter your E-mail ID and running mobile number to register yourself, then system will be verified by sending OTP on email ID and number.
• Now fill all personal details in the application form, and upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature.
• Pay the application fee Rs. 1180/- for UR, OBC & EWS category candidates, for SC & ST pay Rs. 826/- and submit the form by clicking submit button.
• Take print out of the application form for future reference.

UP Metro Rail Selection Process

There are three stages for all Posts except Station Controller cum Train Operator (SCTO)

• Written Examination
• Document Verification
• Medical Examination

There are four stages for SCTO posts which are 155 vacancies declared by the organization.

• Medical Examination

UP Metro Rail 2024 Exam Pattern

The recruitment of UP metro rail exam will be computer based test which have objective type question. For correct answer 1 marks will get, for wrong answer 1/3 marks deduction.

For all Executive and Non-Executive post except Maintainer, S & T and Maintainer, Electrical there will be five subjects of total question 140 and duration of exam 2 hours.

5. Knowledge of Discipline

For Maintainer/S & T and Maintainer/Electrical posts

Number of questions – 100

All Subjects are same as above given.

Duration of exam – 2 hours
