NLC India Limited (NLCIL) a premier NAVRATNA Public Sector Enterprise which has expertise in Mining (Lignite & Coal), Thermal Power generation and Renewable energy. NLC is undergoing recruitment to the posts of Graduate Executive Trainee(GET) using GATE-2023 scores for its Thermal Power Stations & Renewable Energy (Area-1) located in Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan & Uttar Pradesh and Renewable Energy projects located in various states & UT. Mines and Allied services (Area-2) located in in the state of Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, Jharkhand & Odisha

The registration process for NLC Recruitment 2023 for Graduate Executive Trainee starts from 22.11.2023. The Selection process will be completed on two parameters i.e. GATE Score 2023 followed by Personal Interview. The Application fees for Graduate Executive Trainee(GET) Recruitment 2023 is as follows:- Candidates having Category UR/EWS/OBC are required to pay non refundable fees of Rs.854/- (Including Application fees and Processing fees). The rest of the category candidates have to pay Rs. 354/- (processing fees) only.

The online Registration starting date for NLC Graduate Executive Trainee recruitment is 22 November 2023 and Ending Date is 21 December 2023 (at 17:00 Hrs). Last date for payment of online fees is 21 December 2023 (at 23:45 hrs). Further, the organisation also stated that the last date for On-line Submission of application for candidates who have already registered and paid Fees within time limit is 22.12.2023 at 17:00 Hrs.

NLC Executive Trainee Vacancy 2023 Details Stream Wise

The total vacancies for NLC Graduate Executive Trainee(GET) Recruitment 2023 reported on the official notification is 295. The said vacancies are bifurcated Engineering Stream wise as follows:-

1. Mechanical Stream:- The total no of Mechanical Branch NLC Executive Trainee Vacancies are 120 posts. Out of 120 posts 36 posts are in Area-1 and 84 posts are in Area-2.  
2. Electrical Stream:- The total no of Electrical Branch NLC Executive Trainee Vacancies are 109 posts. Out of 109 posts 71 posts are in Area-1 and 38 posts are in Area-2.  
3. Civil Stream:- The total no of Civil Branch NLC Executive Trainee Vacancies are 28 posts. Out of 28 posts 15 posts are in Area-1 and 13 posts are in Area-2.  
4. Mining Stream:- The total no of Mining Branch NLC Executive Trainee Vacancies are 17 posts. All the 17 posts are in Area-2 only.  
5. Computer Science Stream:- The total no of Computer Science Branch NLC Executive Trainee Vacancies are 21 posts. Out of 21 posts 18 posts are in Area-1 and 3 posts are in Area-2

NLC Executive Trainee Eligibility Criteria

In order to apply for NLC Executive Trainee 2023, the upper Age limit of the candidate should be 30 years for UR/EWS candidates (as on 01.11.2023). For other category candidates relaxation is provided as per official notification.

Educational Qualification for NLC Recruitment 2023

• Candidate should have qualified for Graduate Aptitude Test GATE-2023 in relevant Gate Code
• Should be graduate as per the required stream (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Computer Science and Mining)
• Minimum qualifying percentage of marks in the notified qualification is 60 % for UR/EWS/OBC (NCL) candidates & 50 % for SC/ST candidates

NLC Executive Trainee Selection Process 2023

The Selection process of NLC Executive Trainee  2023 as per official Recruitment PDF will be conducted in following manner:-

1. Selection will be based on GATE 2023 Score (80 Marks) followed by Personal Interview (20 Marks). Hence, Merit list will be based on total 100 marks.
2. Applicants will be will be shortlisted for personal interview based on the merit order of marks (out of 100) scored in (GATE) – 2023.
3. Short listing of candidates for Area-1 (Thermal Power Stations & Renewable Energy) and Area-2 (Mines & Allied services) is independent based on merit order of the GATE-2023 score. Accordingly, area wise merit list of shortlisted candidates will be prepared separately for Area-1 and Area-2 based on GATE-2023 score, ensuring due reservation. Candidate opted for Area-1 cannot claim selection for Area-2 or vice versa. The area wise shortlisted candidates will be called for Personal Interview
4. The Final selection shall be in the order of merit based on the total marks scored by the candidates out of 100 marks, (i.e.) sum of marks scored in GATE 2023 (80 marks) and Personal Interview (20 marks), ensuring due reservation.
5. On successful completion of Document / Certificate Verification & Medical Examination, “Offer of Appointment” will be issued to the selected candidates who meet the notified qualifying norms and found medically fit.

How to Apply for NLC Graduate Executive Trainee Vacancy

1. Eligible Candidates after going through the official PDF have to register on the official website (www.nlcindia.in) by click Apply Online link.
2. Candidates have to register once through New Registration button.
3. Candidates can apply for one post only, either for Area-1 (Thermal Power Stations & Renewable Energy) or for Area-2 (Mines & Allied Services). The selection cannot be altered after submission of application.
4. Candidates have to register their Personal data, Educational Qualification, Age, Category and other details in Online Application Portal. Candidates should upload required scanned copies of documents / certificates in prescribed format to establish their eligibility.
5. After submitting applications through ONLINE, candidates should take a print out of NLC Graduate Executive Trainee 2023 registration cum application form and produce it along with self-attested copies of certificates / documents, at the time of document verification.
6. The Online application portal will be active from 10:00 hours on 22/11/2023 to 17:00 hours on 22/12/2023.

NLC Graduate Executive Trainee Monthly Salary 2023

The NLC Graduate Executive Trainee have to under training for a period of one year. During the said period the Graduate Executive Trainees (GET) will get a pay scale of 50,000 to 1,60,000 under Grade E-2. The CTC per annum during the time of training will be approx. Rs.13.32 lakhs. In addition to this the trainees will get perks like Performance related pay, medical allowance, residential accommodation etc.

On successful completion of training, the trainees will be absorbed in E-3 Grade, in the scale of pay INR. 60,000-1,80,000 with a basic pay of INR. 60,000/- per month. In addition, they will be paid Performance Related Pay annually and entitled for Superannuation benefit (30% of Basic Pay + DA) as per rules.
