RRC WCR Recruitment 2023 Details

RRC WCR has released a notification vide Advt. No. 06/2023, regarding recruitment of apprenticeship training for various Discipline, Technician (Diploma), Technician (ITI) Apprentices. Total no of Apprentices seats are 3015 and they will be paid stipend during their training as per extant rules. 

Interested candidates can apply online for the RRC WCR Recruitment of Apprentice Training on official website of www.wrc.indianrailways.gov.in from 15.12.2023 to 14.01.2024. The selection process of the RRC WCR apprentice training will be based on the merit list prepared on the marks obtained in 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) plus ITI/Trade marks. Selected candidates will undergo document verification and later the list of shortlisted for RRC WCR Apprenticeship Training candidates will be declared.

Online applications are invited from eligible candidates for engagement of Apprentices for training under the Apprentices Act, 1961 in the designated trades at Units/Workshops in the West Central Railway for 3015 Slots.

RRC WCR Apprentice Age Limit

The Apprentice age limit defined as per official notification is as under:-

The minimum age limit is 15 years and the maximum will be 24 Years as on closing date i.e. 14.12.2023  (Extended by 05 years for SC/ST; 03 years for OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) & 10 years for PWDs)

RRC WCR Apprenticeship Training Educational Qualification

The candidate must have passed 10th class examination or its equivalent (under 10+2 examination system) with minimum 50% marks, in aggregate, from recognized Board and also should possess the National Trade Certificate in the notified trade issued by NCVT/SCVT.

Note: The candidates should have already passed the prescribed qualification on the date of issue of Notification. Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination and candidates whose result of qualifying examination awaited are not eligible.

1. In order to apply for RRC West Central Railway Apprentice Training program, candidates required to apply only through online mode at the RRC WCR website: www.rrc.wcr.indianrailways.gov.in.
2. Accordingly, candidate have to register himself through valid email and mobile no.
3. Fill all the relevant details like personal data, educational qualification, photograph, signatures etc.
4. Pay the relevant WCR Apprentice Training application fees though online mode.
5. It is pertinent to mention that they have to follow the instructions provided in official notification and accordingly fill their details.
6. After completing the payment and registration process, the candidate should download the application form and keep a copy of it with him. Keep it, so that it can be used for reference if needed in future.
