Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board for selection through direct recruitment on a total of 1455 vacant posts of Nursing Officer (female/male) diploma holders/degree holders under Group ‘C’ in the Medical Education Department of Uttarakhand, Government Medical Colleges and State Cancer Institute, Haldwani. Online applications are being invited. Interested candidates can apply through the link available on the Board’s website www.ukmssb.org.

Uttarakhand Nursing Officer Recruitment 2023 selection process will be based on year-wise merit list prepared as per the marks obtained by the candidate in Degree/Diploma. The merit list will be created Separately for Male and Female candidates. After record verification, the list of selected candidates will be declared.

Uttarakhand Nursing Adhikari (Mahila/Purush) Online application form

To fill the Nursing Adhikari (Mahila/Purush) or Nursing Officer (Male/Female) online application form, the candidate will first have to register online. The dates for filing application form is as under:-

Nursing Officer 2023 Vacancy Details

Total number of vacancies for the post of Nursing Officer (Female/Male) Diploma holder/Degree holder under Group ‘C’ in Institute, Haldwani is 1455 (797 posts of Nursing Adhikari (Female) Diploma holder, 366 posts of Nursing Adhikari (Female) Degree holder, Nursing Adhikari there are 200 posts for Diploma holders (male) and 92 posts for Nursing Adhikari (male) degree holders. The number of vacancies may increase or decrease. The vacancy details are as follows:-

Nursing officer Recruitment Age Limit

Regarding the Uttarakhand Nursing officer age limit, the candidate age as on 01 July 2023 should be a minimum of 21 years of age and maximum 42 years of age.

For other category candidates relaxation is provided as per official UKMSSB notification.

Nursing Adhikari (Mahila/Purush) Educational Qualification

The Nursing Adhikari (Mahila/Purush) education qualification for the as per UKMSSB notification 2023 is as follows:-

(1)- Compulsory Qualifications:-

(a) The candidate should have B.Sc. (Hons) in Nursing from a University or Institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, or B.Sc. Nursing regular course from a University or Institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council, or a University or Institute recognized by the Indian Nursing Council. Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing from Indian Nursing Council or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery/Psychiatry from a university recognized by the Indian Nursing Council.

(b) Must have a certificate of registration as B.Sc (Hons) or B.Sc Nursing or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing or General Nursing and Midwifery/Psychiatry from Uttarakhand/Indian Nursing and Midwifery Council.

(c) Have working knowledge of Hindi.

(2)- Preferential qualifications:

(a) Must have served at least 02 years in the Territorial Army, or

(b) Must have obtained “B” or “C” certificate of National Cadet Corps.

UKMSSB Nursing Officer Pariksha Selection Process 2023

a) Nursing Officer Pariksha Selection will be based on year-wise merit order as reflected from the marks obtained by Degree/Diploma holding candidates (female/male).

b) As per government order, selection will be done once for the selection year 2023-24, giving the benefit of reservation, on the basis of year-wise merit list on the basis of percentage of total marks obtained by the candidate in Diploma/Degree.

c) If two or more candidates obtain equal marks then their names will be placed in the merit order on the basis of age, the name of the candidate whose date of birth is earlier will be placed first.

d) The criteria of selection is year wise merit order, hence after receiving the application form, approximately 1½ (one and a half) times the number of category wise vacancies will be invited for record verification in year wise seniority order. After record verification, the list of selected candidates will be declared.

How to Apply Nursing Adhikari (Mahila/Purush) Pariksha

Candidates have to go through the following points to apply for UKMSSB Nursing Officer Recruitment 2023

a)   For online application, go to “Apply Now” and click on Nursing Officer Examination 2023 (for Medical Education).

b) Candidates should visit the board’s website www.ukmssb.org to view the advertisement properly. The online application form will be available on the website of Uttarakhand Medical Services Selection Board from December 12, 2023 (Tuesday) at www.ukmssb.org. The last date for filling the online application form and attaching the necessary documents is 01 January 2024.

c) Fill the online application form displayed on the website correctly as per the terms and conditions of the advertisement and follow the instructions shown on the website.

d) After filling the Nursing Officer online application form completely, check the entries carefully. Click on I Agree at the end of the application form.

e) After that candidate will have to upload his scanned photograph (not more than 50KB) and signature in JPG FORMAT (not more than 50KB). Then Click on Agree.

f) Candidates can deposit the examination fee through Net Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card/UPI only. After filling the application form, the candidate should download the application form and keep a copy of it with him.

Keep it, so that it can be used for reference if needed in future.  Fees deposited in any other way other than the above will not be accepted and if the examination fee is not deposited by the prescribed date, the online application form will be cancelled.

Uttarakhand Nursing Officer Salary details

As per official notification the salary for a Newly joined Nursing Officer will be of pay level 7 with Pay band Rs.44,900 – Rs.1,42,400/-. The approx. in hand salary will be around 60,000/- per month.
