WBPRB will start accepting online applications from 1st March and link will be available at www.prb.wb.gov.in or www.wbpolice.gov.in or www.kolkatapolice.gov.in. The candidates who have passed the 10th class examination from the west Bengal Board of Secondary education or its equivalent are eligible to submit their application form. Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2024 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit
The age limit of candidates is minimum of 18 years and maximum of 30 years of age as on 01/01/2024. Upper age relaxation is also provided and mentioned below.

Education Qualification

How to Apply Kolkata Police Constable Recruitment 2024

- On the homepage click on the “Recruitment to the post of Constable and Lady Constable in Kolkata Police 2024”.
- Enter all the required details such as email ID, mobile number, name and other relevant information.
- Complete the application form and ensure accuracy for details, then click on submit button.
- Now pay the application payment through various available online mode.
- Upload all scanned documents as per the given format and size mentioned in the notification.
- Take a printout of the application form for future reference.
Kolkata Police Constable 2024 Selection Process
For selecting the candidates there will be 5 stages of selection process by West Bengal Police Recruitment Board (WBPRB).
- Written Exam: This exam is conducted to shortlist candidates for the next stage of selection process. Marks obtained in this exam will not be considered in final merit list. There would be 100 objective type question with 1 mark for correct answer and a negative marking of 1/4th marks for incorrect answer.
- Physical Measurement Test (PMT): The physical standard such as height, weight and chest will be test under this stage (only for males).
- Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Candidates who qualified in PMT will be automatically shortlist in PET test which includes the running event.
- Final Written Exam: candidates who qualify in both PMT & PET stages, will be called to appear in final written exam. There would be 85 objective type questions.
- Interview: Based on the marks scored in final written examination and interview, final merit list of selected candidates will be published by WBPRB.
