JCCE Constable Recruitment 2023 Brief details
Jharkhand Constable Competitive Examination (JCCE) has been released by the Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission for the recruitment of Police Constables under district level constable cadre. The official notification issued on 20th December 2023. As per JCCE Police Constable notification the total no of vacancies reported (incl. backlogs) are 4927. The said vacancies include 1547 posts for Male candidates and 3372 posts for female candidates.
The application process for applying JCCE 2023 will start from 15th January 2024 through official website i.e. jssc.gov.in, till 14th February 2024. The selection process of the candidates is based on three stages i.e. Physical Efficiency Test , Medical Test and OMR based Written examination. Merit list will be prepared and published based on the selected candidates who qualified all three stages. JCCE Constable 2023 Eligibility Criteria
Candidates before applying the application form must thoroughly go through the JCCE Notification 2023 for eligibility criteria. Candidate’s Age limit and Education Qualification must be as per the requirement published under the JCCE Constable Recruitment 2023.
JCCE 2023 Age Limit
As on 01.08.2023, the age limit to apply for the post of Police Constables as per Jharkhand Constable Competitive Examination is Minimum 18 years and maximum 25 years. Age Relaxation is applicable as per government rules for different categories.
JCCE 2023 Educational Qualification
The candidates must have passed the 10th class from any recognized board
Jharkhand Police Constable 2023 Salary
The Salary of police constables recruited through Jharkhand Constable Competitive Examination is as per pay level 3 of Pay matrix i.e. Rs 21,700/- to Rs 69,100/-. Allowances like Traveling, Medical, House Rent etc will be calculated to the basic pay.
JCCE Police Constable 2023 Selection Process
The selection process for the cadre of Police Constables both male and female as per Jharkhand Constable Competitive Examination (JCCE) is based on three stages:-
1)Physical Efficiency Test
Chest measurement of only male candidates will be checked:- Minimum Chest measurement 81 cm.
Height:- Male- Minimum Height 160 Cm for Female- Minimum height 146 Cm
Race :-
(a) For men, 10 km in 60 minutes.
(b) For women, 05 km in 30 minutes.
(2) Medical examination
Medical examination of the candidates passed in the written examination will be done by the Medical Board headed by the Civil Surgeon-cum-Chief Medical Officer of the district or constituted by him. It is necessary to be successful in the said test otherwise it will not be included in the merit list for selection.
The physical structure of the candidates includes Bent Knee, Sagittal Foot, Flat Foot, Spinal Vein, Improper Movement of Fingers, Visual Defect, Color Blindness / Night Blindness, Hearing, Stammering, Bericocele/ Hydrocele / Piles and Medical examination for any communicable physical/mental disease etc. will be done.
(3) Written examination
The written examination will consists of two papers the details are as under:-
(1) Paper 1 – (regional/tribal language knowledge)
Candidates will be able to give the exam in any one language out of Hindi / English / Sanskrit / Urdu / Santhali / Bangla / Mundari (Munda) / Ho / Khadiya / Kudukh (Uraon) / Kurmali / Khortha / Nagpuri / Panchparganiya / Oriya on the basis of option. In this examination 100 multiple choice answer based questions of the respective language will be asked. The syllabus for Regional/Tribal Language Knowledge is attached with the Brochure as Appendix-XIII.
Note – It will be mandatory to obtain minimum 30 percent marks in Paper 01.
(II) Paper: 2
This letter will have two parts. Part-1 will be related to Hindi language. In which the number of questions will be 50. These questions are based on paragraph, Hindi grammar, idioms and proverbs and Will be related to correcting the sentences. In Part-2, 25 questions will be related to General Knowledge and 25 questions will be related to Numerical ability. Exam duration 2 hours. Total marks 300. (Level of Examination-Matric)
All questions in the examination of all papers will be objective and multiple choice answer based. for each correct answer 3 marks will be given and 1 mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.
JCCE Police Constable Online Application Procedure
The mode of application process is online only. The detailed process to apply JCCE police Constable online the following steps may be followed:-
(i) Before filling the application form, candidates should download the advertisement and brochure and enter the information in the application form as per the terms and conditions of the brochure.
(ii) To fill the application form, first go to the Commission’s website www.jssc.nic.in and click on Online Application for JCCE-2023 and then do your registration.
(iii) As soon as the registration process is completed, the registration number and password will be sent to your mobile phone and email. Note down the registration number and password and keep it safe as both will be required for future login.
(iv) As soon as you receive the registration number and password, log in again and enter detailed information about yourself. After saving and continuing each page of the application, it is necessary to fill the information of the next page. Login again after 12:00 noon on the next date on which you complete this work and pay the examination fee.
v) Before submitting the JCCE Police Constable Online Application form, make sure that the information given is correct, otherwise the Commission will take a decision on canceling the candidature and taking other action for giving wrong declaration form.
